Call for Presentations: Sensor-Edge Neuromorphics Forum

We are seeking submissions that detail the end-to-end deployment lifecycle, including but not limited to:

  • Data Acquisition: Innovative data gathering and signal-to-spike transformation.
  • Model Development: Methodologies for training and optimizing Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs) and their positioning in the full signal processing chain.
  • Hardware Mapping: Quantization and deployment strategies for physical neuromorphic hardware or high-fidelity simulation environments.
  • Community highlight: Some high-profile communities are focused on some of the grand-challenges of neuromorphics, and their strategy and approach will be highlighted.

Given the emerging nature of the hardware ecosystem, we also welcome algorithmic or simulation-based solutions, provided they demonstrate a clear path to physical deployment.

Target Applications

We are looking for use cases where traditional compute fails to meet power or latency constraints:

  • Aerospace & Rugged Environments: Building resilience and autonomy in extreme, isolated, or radiation-hardened conditions.
  • Biomedical Edge: Ultra-low-power wearables and implants capable of long-term, personalised signal tracking.
  • Physical AI: Physical AI, whether in terms of Robotics, or Automotive and Mobility, relates perception of the environment through a variety of sensors to planning and execution of actions.
  • Low-Power & Low-Latency Systems: Consumer electronics-focused applications requiring real-time responsiveness and high-frequency signal tracking within a minimal energy footprint on a tight battery budget.
